Queen follows PhD candidates Sanam and Ariel who have been researching the vanishing bee populations. On the verge of publishing a career-defining paper to prove that Monsanto is responsible, Sanam discovers errors in their calculations. Sanam is trapped in an impossible situation as her professor asks her to commit fraud but her moral compass says to stand by her principles. Queen folds out like a fever dream of Sanam's. The world closes in around her, then explodes and fractures as she desperately tries to keep her dearest friendship in tact but feels her whole world falling apart.
