About Me

I'm a New York City based lighting designer for theater & live performance. I am passionate about making art that amplifies voices that aren't always heard, that explores humanity at its core, and that speaks to the deeply hurting world that we live in right now today. I love a good collaboration and thrive in situations that call for creative and unconventional problem solving.

I grew up on a dirt road in the forest in New Hampshire telling stories around a campfire under the stars with my dad and singing through musicals in their entirety with my mom. It's only fitting that I now tell stories professionally. How did I get so lucky?

I am a living, breathing human being. So are you. So are all my collaborators and our audiences. What a joy to have a heartbeat, to see, hear, and taste on a daily basis. We are vitally, brilliantly, painfully ALIVE and as a theater artist, that is of the utmost importance. At the root of every project, it's vital to me that everyone in the room is first and foremost treated with dignity and respect. I aim to lead with humanity and together we make magic!

I am currently pursuing my MFA in lighting design at NYU Tisch (graduating May 2025).

Outside of theater, you can find me snuggling with my cat, taking long walks in Prospect Park, doing the NYT crossword, at a trivia/game night with friends, or splitting a pint of Ben & Jerry's with my fiancé.
