Rome is at a crossroads. Julius Caesar stands at the height of his power - beloved by the people, feared by his enemies, and dangerously close to becoming a king. When a circle of senators decides that the only way to save the Republic is to destroy the man threatening it, they set in motion a chain of events no one can stop.

Betrayal. Ambition. Consequence. Shakespeare's immortal political thriller asks the question that haunts every age: what are we willing to do - and sacrifice - in the name of freedom?

The lighting design takes us from intimate corners where plans are hatched, to the storm raining fire as the conspirators set their plan in motion, to the battlefields as Rome descends into civil war.
